Collaboration Project
My current practice looks to unravel our pre-existing ideas around what Landscape painting is. My project brought me to a point where I was programming/ teaching Artificial Intelligence to read three types of paintings. Romantic/Figurative Depictions of Landscapes; Completely Abstracted Works and Minimalistic Pieces. I then looked to test my own artworks and works by other artists on this software to see how they would be categorized. My goal is to see what these percentages could possibly mean to an artist, and if at all or how we could start to break them down and understand them.
